say something, —

about the sickled moon
to distract the others

from what’s really going on
beneath my open

where i give you pearls
and doves and chandeliers

5 is so gracious, —
and i’m counting this

with the bleeding heart,
one more design,
and another,

another one,

  1. The way you set out the poem makes it seem far longer than 55 words, the meaning suggested in the gaps, I think, has something to do with the effect… This takes a lot of poetical prowess.
