Go, Poem. Go!

Hello!

Hello!

Do you like my poem?

I do not like it.

Good-by.

Good-by.

Hello again.

Hell no, again.

So I won’t even ask.

But just so you know,

With me going out on a limb,

You’re going to like it

In the end.

      1. But that’s what I love about this daily thing…if you don’t like this poem, I’ll try again tomorrow. 🙂

    1. an aside: the dastardly yellow dog stole the happy dog’s feather, before he caught the spirit. i don’t know why this bothers me. us poets can borrow inspiration from each other, and it’s not dastardly. we need to be brave poets.

  1. Hahah! I love it. I used to read this book to my kiddos when they were little. Your poem captures the essence completely and brought wonderful memories to mind. Thanks for sharing!
