    1. Yes…like Zora Neale Hurston’s characters from “Their Eyes Were Watching God.” Takes awhile to decipher the text…and I’m not sure 42 words gave it enough of a run, but I went for it anyway. Thanks for reading.

  1. You did a great job with the voice. I love ‘Their Eyes Were Watching God’ too; an amazing book. It’s clever to use that distinctive voice for micro-fiction. It adds a whole other layer without adding more words. Nice job.

    1. A mish-mash of language, for sure. Just like with furnishing a home, whatever you like usually fits together…or else it’s eccentric or eclectic…hopefully not junk.
