An Adventure

684A1790(pp_w900_h600)You who began as feet and eyeballs

Among your momma’s muscle and grit

Hitch your wagon to the highest star

Loosen your soul that’s bound to wonder

In this big bright beautiful world

  1. ‘momma’s muscle and grit’ < 3
It's tough, but it is marvelous to watch them fly : )
I'll be watching for you, Angie.

    1. I’ll look for you on the grid as well. I’m looking into Christine’s outlet, from Trudging through the Fog, called Yeah Write. It’s been around awhile. Maybe we can link up there.

  2. This is beautiful! My sons are nowhere close to leaving, but I’ll sure have a hard time letting them go. Love the line, “Hitch your wagon to the highest star” – that’s what we hope for, isn’t it?

I’m glad I ‘met’ you on Trifecta, Angie – hope you do check out Speakeasy (Suzanne (Apoplectic Apostrophes) is also an editor.) If you do, I’ll see you there 🙂
