 Your Poem (In Perfect Order)

“Back Together”
Dodie and I play songs for Roy
His mandolin Red River and
Blue Moon of Kentucky
A sweet Waltz Across Texas
On your way down
Roy and Shorty played
Spoons from Fawn Lake
Sitting in wheelchairs
With much energy
Hands dancing in time
Dying to dance but couldn’t
Stand the old leg
Flexed fingers playing
About lost love
Crying
And singing again
(Singing again)

A tribute  to a long-time resident we all knew better as “Santa”-rest in peace.  11-6-27 to 2-14-13
